Introduction to 'C' Programming

Course Summary

This course is designed as an introduction to the 'C' programming language. Attendees will learn the major features of the 'C' language, how to code programs in 'C', and how to compile and execute these programs. Additionally, the course discusses the use of the 'C' language preprocessor, functions, pointers, arrays, structures, and input and output functions including file I/O.

Audience:

Anyone with a need to use C as a general purpose language.

Prerequisite Knowledge:

Fundamental Windows or Unix training (Lab exercises use UNIX hosts) any programming background is helpful.

Terminal Objectives:

Upon successful completion of this course the student will be able to:
Write, compile, execute and debug 'C' language programs using the following:
